Flavor is at the heart of the southern immigrant experience. Our recipes have a foundation of dry pasta, tomato sauce and olive oil. Our tomatoes are shipped directly from Naples, which add boldness to our sauces. Our Alfredo sauce is not based on corn starch like many Italian restaurants. Rather, we make it the old way with heavy cream, cheese and little wine, enhanced by celery, garlic and those rarified tomatoes.
Our wine is served in tumblers, like the working-class used to drink; not fancy, but delicious just the same.
